Privacy Policy
Inspire Inc. (株式会社インスパイア, "we") provides Live Assist (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in the Service. Effective date: October 19, 2026.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: display name, email address, and password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text).
- Meeting-tool connection data: the email address of the connected account (Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams) and the access tokens we need to call their APIs (encrypted at rest).
- Interview information entered or imported by the user: candidate names, contact details, résumé text, interview transcripts, notes, AI-generated analysis and reports, and audio recorded in the browser.
- Information imported from meeting tools: for the meetings the user chooses to import, the title, date/time, and transcript. Recording files are not copied to our servers; they are streamed on demand for playback.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: preparing, running, and reviewing interviews; creating reports; importing and playing back recordings.
- Account management, authentication, and responding to inquiries.
- Preventing misuse, securing the Service, and troubleshooting.
Data obtained from Zoom and other meeting tools is not used for any other purpose, and is never used for advertising, sale, or profiling.
3. Sharing and processors
- Anthropic, PBC (AI analysis): when the user triggers an analysis or report, we send interview transcripts, résumé text, and question/criteria text to Anthropic's API and receive the result. Anthropic handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy).
- Railway Corp. (hosting): Service data is stored on a persistent volume of a Railway-hosted server.
- Zoom Video Communications, Inc., Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation: only if the user authorizes the connection, we read the list of recordings, transcripts, and recording files through their APIs (read-only).
We do not provide personal information to any other third party except as required by law.
4. Processing outside Japan
The servers of the processors above may be located outside Japan (for example in the United States). By using the Service, you understand that data may be processed in those countries.
5. Retention and deletion
Interview data is kept until the user deletes it. Users can do the following at any time:
- Delete an interview (Report tab): removes its transcript, analysis, report, and recorded audio.
- Delete a candidate (candidate list): removes the candidate and all of their interviews and recorded audio.
- Delete the account (Settings): removes the account, connection tokens, and all candidates, interviews, and recorded audio.
- Disconnect a meeting tool (Settings): removes the stored connection tokens.
- Remove the app in Zoom: Zoom notifies us and we delete the stored Zoom tokens automatically. If Zoom indicates that the user's Zoom data must not be retained, we also delete the interviews imported from Zoom.
Deletions take effect immediately and cannot be undone. For individual requests, contact yuichiro_iwashita@insp.co.jp.
6. Security measures
- All traffic uses HTTPS. Connection tokens, and the stored interview data (candidates, transcripts, reports, accounts) and recorded audio, are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
- Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes.
- Data is separated per account; other users cannot access it.
- Sessions use HttpOnly, Secure cookies.
7. Candidates (people being interviewed)
Users of the Service (the companies and interviewers) are responsible for informing candidates in advance that interviews may be recorded, transcribed, and analyzed by AI, and for the purposes of that use, and for obtaining any required consent. The Service asks users to confirm this before recording starts. Candidates who wish to access or delete their information should first contact the company that interviewed them; you may also contact us.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal data at any time through the contact below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law after verifying your identity. Where deletion is available in the Service (see Section 5), you can do it yourself.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and notify users in the Service for material changes.
